The Year of the Horse! Discover Cool on Track in large formats

Our horse rug and neck cover are finally available – made entirely from mesh and Cool on Track material, which cools through water evaporation. With this, we’ve brought a simple yet brilliant idea to life: we’ve created a full horse rug and a neck cover in this practical material, just in time for the summer heat. Instructions: Wet it and use it!

The horse rug and neck cover are sold separately and can be used either on their own or together.

Our biggest new release

The horse rug and neck cover represent a unique application of our cooling material and enable rapid, yet comfortable and gentle, cooling of the horse’s body using water. The products are easy to use, feature a straightforward design and have adjustable hook and loop fastenings.

New updated models

Our existing equestrian products – Cooling Quick Wraps and Cooling Bell Boots – are back in an improved form. Cool on Track Bell Boots 2.0 now feature a soft, rounded foam edge to minimise the risk of chafing. Cool on Track Quick Wraps 2.0 have a thinner foam filling for better and more efficient cooling.

A horse’s lower legs are particularly important to protect and care for. Cool on Track Quick Wraps 2.0 provide a cooling effect over the tendons, which helps to lower the temperature after intensive work and training. They are well-shaped and carefully designed to be both anatomically adapted and secure.

What exactly is Cool on Track?

All products in the Cool on Track range represent different applications of the same cooling technology/material – with different designs and structural variations in the mesh material to offer the best possible adaptation to different areas of use.

The cooling material absorbs large amounts of water and then cools through evaporation. This makes it possible to cool the horse gently and effectively – and the cooling effect lasts as long as the material remains wet. Pure physics, without the use of chemicals.

What happens when Cool on Track dries out?

The cooling material in Cool on Track products becomes stiff when it dries. Wetting it makes it soft again – much like a kitchen sponge. Wet the material again if you want to reactivate the cooling effect!

The material must be handled with care when it is dry and stiff. This also applies to brand-new products. If the product is dry when taken out of the packaging, it must be soaked before being handled or bent.

Quick questions – quick answers

Why Cool on Track?

Everyone can need help regulating their body temperature on hot days. This is especially true for those with fur – or a mane. Evaporation is a simple and effective way to create a cooling effect: all you need is water.

How does Cool on Track work?

The cooling material absorbs a lot of water, just like a kitchen sponge. As the water evaporates, the surface temperature drops, and the cool surface cools down the person using the product. The mesh material encloses the cooling material and gives the product its shape and structure.

How long does Cool on Track keep you cool?

The material stays cool as long as it is wet. How quickly the water evaporates depends on environmental factors, such as heat, sunlight and humidity. Re-wet to reactivate.

How do I wash Cool on Track?

Hand wash only; 30°C is recommended. Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric conditioner. No Cool on Track product should be tumble-dried, ironed or dry-cleaned. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water.

How should the products be stored?

Store flat and do not fold the Cool on Track material when it is dry. If the product is folded or creased whilst dry, cracks may form. Handle with care and allow the material to absorb plenty of water before using it after storage.

Is Cool on Track available for other animals?

The Cool on Track range is constantly expanding! At present, it includes products for horses, dogs and humans. All are designed to cool areas of the body where blood vessels lie close to the skin.
