Introducing: the BAY family of supreme Dog Coats

“BAY” is a completely new dog coat model that is made to suit most dogs. It is, in fact, an entire family of dog coats - each member with its own properties, but all sharing the family's distinctive shape and fit. 

New-thinking design is among the defining features of BAY. BAY is both enveloping and close-fitting, but with an accommodating design that will allow for a variety of body types - as well as for optimal freedom of movement.

Same as with all Back on Track dog coats, this new addition is highly functional and will offer excellent protection against the elements. But it also contains our ‘active’ materials, infused - or printed! - with a perfectly adapted textile technology. 

This provides an additional advantage: the effect of far infrared energy (FIR).

With the BAY line of high-performance dog coats, we put forth a completely new standard – using elaborate designs and advanced materials.

For more than 25 years, our fabrics have contained an original, powerful mix of minerals, giving them the ability to absorb and emit body heat in the form of infrared energy (FIR). FIR is considered beneficial in many ways; mainly because it stimulates circulation and thereby helps keep muscles and joints warm and supple.

Tailored, snug fit with optimised freedom of movement

“BAY” is designed to envelop the dog’s body, but also to allow for freedom of movement. This is achieved through a body-hugging fit, shaped to comply with the anatomy of thighs and chest, with a wrap-around front and/or back leaving room for leg/tail movement.

Two distinct models adapted to either high or low set tail

BAY for dogs with a high set tail has a wrap-around front and a drawstring at the tail root for adjustment of back length.

BAY for dogs with a low set tail has a wrap-around front and an overlapping design that covers and protects the tail root, but lets the tail wag freely. Since the tail root is a sensitive area, protecting it can be important, especially for dogs prone to developing water tail.

Each dog coat features a unique combination of high-performance functional fabrics, carefully crafted design and infrared effect (FIR).

Our functional fabrics are chosen depending on the desired properties of the end product, such as breathability, moisture wicking ability, water resistance, stretchiness and warmth.

The BAY line consists of dog coats for many different conditions and occasions – and the materials are chosen accordingly, to be perfectly adapted for their intended use.

The BAY family includes a winter coat, a waterproof rain coat, a coat to dry in, a fleece coat and the ever so popular and versatile mesh coat.

All Back on Track dog coats have a common denominator: they reflect FIR, which exerts a therapeutic effect on the body of the wearer. Our different textile technologies are developed for the purpose of conveying the FIR effect to a variety of different materials, each with a specific set of functional properties.

In the BAY line, all our classic textile technologies are represented – together with a brand new one: Fusiontex®.

Fusiontex® enables yet another set of materials – this time an exceedingly thin, waterproof textile - to be added to our range of FIR emitting functional fabrics.
