On the weekend of 7–8 March 2026, Jönköping will be at the absolute centre of the dog world! That's when Elmia Hund will be held, a trade fair for everything related to dog life, for everyone who sees dogs as our very best friends and most loyal partners. At Elmia Hund, you will be able to experience ‘the dog’ in all its aspects as man's foremost co-worker. Elmia Hund particularly highlights ‘dog sports and dogs in service’ – two areas that are close to our hearts at Back on Track. We want to give working, performing dogs the very best conditions to excel in their tasks. That is why we are delighted to be attending Elmia's dog fair, together with dogs, dog owners, dog trainers, authorities, organisations and companies that all focus on the welfare of dogs.

Of course, we also hope that there will be great interest in our dog coats – designed for all conceivable weather conditions, situations and dog breeds. Always with an added bonus: our innovative FIR technology on the inside.

Dogs doing important societal work

The dog fair at Elmia in Jönköping means two intense days in a constant flow of inspiration, demonstrations and information. And last but not least: the Elmia fair offers its visitors a fantastic opportunity to see the versatility of dogs as human partners!

For example, the police and customs authorities are represented here. The dogs of these authorities perform some of the most important tasks a service dog can face. Together with their dog handlers, they help to maintain key social functions. The authority dogs track and search for people, identify illegal substances and, in general, assist in maintaining law and order. This can place very high demands on the individual dog.

But service dogs also play an important role as social partners to humans, for example in their work as therapy dogs in schools, healthcare and care.

A number of organisations are therefore on hand to showcase the amazing versatility of dogs' work. One of these more or less unexpected jobs is performed, for example, by dogs that track signs of disease in apple trees!

We are presenting our three ‘families’ BAY, BARK and BUDDY  at Elmia Hund!
At our stand, you can discover our range, which can now be divided into three design families based on their fit.

BAY: our most ‘universal’ dog coat.

The BAY dog coat has a great ability to adapt to the dog wearing it. BAY has a permissive, expanding design that accommodates a variety of body shapes while remaining close-fitting. The adaptability is built into the model, with an ingenious wrap-around cut and anatomical design around the chest and thighs.

The BUDDY 2.0 dog coat

The BUDDY 2.0 dog coat is designed to fit perfectly on dogs with proportionally long backs and short legs. The most typical representative of this body type is undoubtedly the dachshund – but BUDDY also fits dogs whose physique resembles that of a dachshund, such as the Drever, Alpenländerisch Deschbracke and Basset.

BARK – for your workmate

BARK is best suited to working dogs, especially service dogs and breeds with a similar slender and muscular build. The BARK coat is the perfect equipment for a working dog, a search dog or a tracking dog in all conceivable situations and environments. It is a versatile jacket made for activity and movement, designed for dogs that perform important work by your side, whatever the weather!

The ‘invisible’ advantage

The common denominator of all these dog jackets is their ability to capture and reflect the dog's body heat in the form of infrared energy (FIR). Back on Track's textile technologies aim to increase well-being, performance, endurance and recovery through the stimulating effect of FIR.

We achieve this through ‘reflective’ minerals, which are fused into the material. This innovative advantage is neither visible nor noticeable when looking at or feeling the fabric – but the effect can be experienced by the dog in the form of softer, warmer muscles and more flexible joints!

A place for play, dance and performance!

Elmia Hund focuses not only on concrete social benefits, but also on competitions and entertainment. Interest in dog sports such as Freestyle is constantly growing, and during the fair, its practitioners have the opportunity to both compete and show off their skills. The competition teams have great freedom to design their often highly creative programmes to music of their choice, which guarantees the entertainment value of this growing spectator sport.

Heelwork to Music is a stricter form of cooperation between dog and human, with certain predetermined positions, imperceptibly incorporated into an elegant, flowing dance.
