Cool on Track - Comfort cooling in hot temperatures
Discover Cool on Track - our summer heat saviour! Have you heard of Cool on Track - our summer heat saviour? Cool on Track is a range of products made from a mesh material that incorporates a cooling fabric with very high capacity to absorb water. The water stored in the fabric evaporates through the mesh, which lowers the surface temperature and cools the skin. The instructions for use are the simplest possible: soak, wring, apply! The temperature drops by several degrees, which creates a cooling, refreshing effect. Wonderful in hot weather and pleasant to use for relieving discomfort. Now, our best-selling Cool on Track collection for dogs and horses has been upgraded, and new products have been added. We have also created a brand-new range – designed specifically for people! Cool on Track cools through evaporation All you need is access to water. No chemicals are involved and access to a fridge or freezer is not required. This makes the products easy to use and take with you on trips and outings. As long as the product is wet, it will retain its cooling effect. In hot, dry weather, the rate of water evaporation increases. This also increases the cooling effect – which makes the product adaptable to different temperature conditions through simple physics. Wet it again when it dries to reactivate its cooling ability. The plight of our furry friends Our very first Cool on Track products were made for dogs. These items have already made a real difference in many dogs' daily lives by helping them stay comfortable, alert and well during the hottest days of summer. Dogs can not regulate their body temperature by sweating, like humans do. Instead, they pant - a much less effective method. It can be exceedingly difficult for them to evacuate excess heat, especially with a long, thick or dense coat insulating the body. Cool on Track helps family members with fur cool down through evaporative cooling. By making a dog coat with the Cool on Track fabric, we create a surface for evaporation in close contact with the dog’s body. Evaporation makes the temperature drop, which then cools the dog. The Cool on Track range for dogs Our Cool on Track dog coat is used just like a normal dog coat. It has a simple and straightforward design with broad hook and loop straps across the chest and under the belly. In the new and updated version, cooling fabric covers the sides, while spine and kidney areas are covered with mesh only, to make it more suitable also for breeds with thin fur, sensitive dogs and older dogs. In addition to the dog coat, there is a convenient cooling towel made from the same fabric – available in two different sizes. The towel can be used in every conceivable way and by anyone (animals and people) seeking relief from the heat. For a dog, it is comfortable to lie on. The fur is thinner on the stomach, so the material cools that area even more effectively. Strategic, targeted cooling Since the dog’s fur is less dense in certain areas of the body, superficial blood vessels in these areas are more easily accessible. Applying Cool on Track fabric at these locations is more efficient and can have greater impact even with smaller products. This is why some Cool on Track items strategically target places such as the neck, the paws, the chest and the belly. Cool on Track Bandana has a small surface area but sits around the neck where blood vessels pass close to the surface. Similarly, pet socks can provide a refreshing sensation throughout the body and will also protect the paws from hot surfaces. The Cool on Track Cooling Harness follows the same principle. The cooling fabric extends over the chest upwards in a Y-shape between the dog’s front legs, making summer walks pleasant even under a hot sun. The year of the Horse The summer of 2026 will mark a major launch of both new and upgraded products for horses. We introduce the largest and most ambitious item yet: A horse rug made with Cool on Track fabric, which can be complemented with a neck piece. The horse rug represents a unique application of our cooling material and allows for the rapid, yet comfortable and gentle cooling of a horse with water. Easy to use, with a straightforward design and adjustable hook and loop straps. Other products will return in an updated form. The Bell Boots 2.0 now has a soft, rounded foam upper edge to minimise the risk of chafing. The Cool on Track Quick Wraps 2.0 mould to the horse's legs and apply a cooling effect on the tendons, helping to bring down the temperature after intense work and exercise. The foam filling has been slimmed down for improved performance. All products are made from a sturdy 3D mesh material with large pieces of cooling fabric positioned where the cooling has the greatest effect, without putting sensitive areas at risk. The high absorbency material can be soaked again and again to refresh and maintain its cooling ability. Stay cool in the summer heat - Human edition With Cool on Track, soothing relief is always close at hand. No more need for borrowing from the animal range! We have finally expanded the Cool on Track collection and developed a range specifically designed for people: a headband, a cooling collar and two bandages/pads that can be secured around the body, for use anywhere. The Cool on Track Cooling Headband provides a cooling sensation across the forehead and temples. It stays in place even when you’re on the move (making it more practical than a wet compress). The Cool on Track Cooling Collar has the same effect; it drapes over the shoulders and fastens at the front. The cooling sensation is pleasant during a heatwave, and can also relieve tension, fatigue and headaches. The cooling fabric is also made available in the form of a bandage and a larger pad – both with hook and loop straps that secures them in place. The simple, uncomplicated design opens up many areas of use. The gentle cooling can be helpful for post-exercise recovery, to relieve tension in tired or overworked muscles, or help reduce discomfort, swelling and redness. What happens when Cool on Track dries out? The cooling material in Cool on Track products becomes rigid when it dries out. Soaking it makes it soft again – much like a kitchen sponge cloth. The material must be handled with care when it is dry. This also applies to brand-new products. If the product is stiff when taken out of its packaging, it must be soaked before being handled. To simplify soaking, all products now come in a specially designed mesh soak bag that can be used for storage. This also allows us to reduce the amount of packaging material and our use of plastic.
